My name is Jen. I'm an enneagram two, I sometimes speak in haikus and I'm already obsessed with you. I've been an artist in one way or another since I could first hold a pencil. Nothing leaves me feeling more alive than when I'm making art, especially with and for others. Fulfilling my clients' visions fulfills me more than I can even say. But if there's anything that holds a candle to my passion for photography its the love I have for traveling, writing, and maybe (definitely) Taylor Swift. New places and new challenges thrill me; I'm sure they could do an entire study on the adrenaline junkie to elopement photographer pipeline.
And quite unsurprisingly, I've found that deep down at the root of everything I love so dearly, is the ever present glow of human connection. That's my why.
And here, in this little corner of the internet, is where you can dive into my soul's work. I can't wait to be friends!!

Wow, where do I even begin with how I am a brand evangelist of Jen Funderburk Photo?! I first met Jen through instagram. She got us so excited during the shoot and made it so fun. She handled everything so perfectly, I would not change a single thing. Jen then delivered my photos in a beautiful online gallery. She is very professional and delivered the photos faster than I expected! Jen also gave us beautiful black and white photos in addition to our colored ones. Such a great touch.
I highly highly highly recommend Jen. You have to book her asap for your elopement, wedding, engagement, and couples session. I have not met a photographer who cares more than Jen does about YOU AS HUMANS. She cares so much about you and then on top of that delivers the most amazing photos. She is not just a photographer, she instantly becomes your friend. Jen also has a special creative touch and named our gallery a poetic lyric from a Taylor Swift song and added a unique lyric as a caption for our gallery. She goes the extra mile to create art that is so on point for you. And she makes you feel oh so special.

I have had both the privilege of having Jen take photos of me, as well as working with her for multiple events. In both, she sparkles in different ways!
When she’s taking photos of you, she is decisive and warm. It is as comfortable and familiar suddenly as having your best friend photograph you. She knows what you’re hoping to see in photos without you having to tell her what that intangible thing is.
It must be because when Jen looks at people, she sees the very best in them.
She knows what is beautiful about everyone right away from the inside, and then brings it out.
She knows how to catch that unexpectedly warm moment of a day -the quick one that feels like it could only ever be felt, not really captured- and then somehow gifts you an entire gallery of them.
